Buy this book, “your first year in network marketing”, it was very helpful and insightful. I would suggest reaching out to people, for example joining your local chamber of commerce and then extending your services there. The more people you help, they become your friends and you gain their trust. Hopefully you turn the “cold” to “warm” within a few weeks/months. But remember the golden rule (treat people the way you’d like to be treated) and lastly be ethical, make sure it’s for their best interest and everything should go your way, take care and good luck!!!

Hi,

Trust bonding is the most important in this situation.
You need to show the people that you are in the business of helping THEM and not yourself.

Approach them individually and encourage them to interact with you using for example your own blog and/or newsletter.

Use polls to try to determine what they want and provide solutions to that.

Hope this helps.

At your service.

Have you ever heard of Michael Clouse? I have learned a tremendous amount from his trainings. He talks about the “know, like and trust” factor, how to prospect and many other key things to grow your business in a “cold market”. Before joining Arbonne, I had no previous experience in NWM and he has taught me so much!!

Karen, You are awesome. I agree. Anyone that says joining their business would solve your problems in flat out wrong. There are many facts that you need to know about the industry to succeed. Facts that don’t just pertain to a single company alone. There are also great tools out there to help spread the word without hassling your friends and family. I would be happy to share some things that I so. I also have a link to a free e-book about MLM/Network Marketing facts and a link to tools in my profile page here at Yahoo Answers.

Best Regards!

Hi Karen,
Lots of ways to network what works best for me is every time I pay someone money for something at the grocery store dry cleaner hairdresser I give them some type of gift certificate or sample warm chatter we call it just say you are also in a service industry and build your business by word of mouth. it really is a numbers game the more people you tell the better chance of finding someone interested. Never take a no or not interested personal just keep going!
Network with other professional women maybe do a women in business portfolio where you do a makeover and put there business card with a picture of them to help them network so they are trying your products and you are advertising their business too. Ask you hairdresser, dry clean ……….. if you can display something in their stores great for doctors office too. Pick an office of the day and give something away say flowers to every women into he office and they can enter a drawing to win something whatever you want to give away and everyone gets a free makeover just for entering
Good luck

1. My MLM Prospecting: I use SiteBuildIt to create my websites. There is nothing better.

2. For getting MLM referrals and building lasting relationships OFFLINE (and this is suitable for network marketers from all companies.) I use SendOutCards (Take a free trial and you will see what I mean)

3. My MLM Follow Up is handled by Oprius. This system builds a simple plan for your leads and customers to make sure no one slips through the cracks. Automatically schedule your emails to be sent or any other type of activity to be created. Your contacts automatically progress through your plans as each step is completed. Comes with a free month evaluation first.

4. My MLM Training: All handled in the Renegade Network Marketer.

All sown up in a neat bundle, success simply seen in any MLM opportunity, including Arbonne.

Unstoppable Dreams @ 6:06 pm

I too use SiteSell and the SiteBuildIt program to build my sites.
I would be happy to share my experience doing this. You can also see an example through my profile. It is great to have an independent website. Duplicated sites do not generate traffic without spending a lot on advertising. Even with advertising, they don’t do any justice. The conversion rates are horrible with a duplicated website.

I hope this has helped.

BEST WISHES!

It is all about the relationship.

If you do not have a warm market then you must create one with leads.

The problem today is that it takes so many more leads to make it than it used to 10 years ago.

Good Luck!
